I started S. David & Co. in 1977 and have learned in all of those years to "get out of the way and let everyone do their job".  When there is an obstacle in someone's way I become an "obstacle remover".  If someone goes above and beyond I am the best “cheerleader” ever. Boy, I love my job.

Don Halil

Vice President

I am a graduate of the University of Florida and Certified General Contractor. After spending over 20 years in the construction industry, I believe that I am able to bring a unique perspective to our organization. I strive to incorporate my knowledge of production and operations into S. David & Co. My goal is to continuously build upon our slogan, “We will satisfy our clients 100% of the time”.

Cecil Portman

Production Manager

I joined S. David in 1991 to begin a career in the coatings industry, and after 30 years, I am still excited to come to work every day. I have held every position in the field, managed projects in three countries, and along with countless projects in Florida, have worked from Pennsylvania to California. As the production manager, my responsibilities include training and counseling painters and foremen to improve and bring value to not only the Company and its clients, but to themselves as well. 

Becca Stinchfield

Office Manager

After recently moving here from New Hampshire, I was hired as the Office Manager in 2022. With over 20 years of accounting experience, as well as extensive involvement in the construction industry, I hope to elevate the team and be a part of the future growth and success of the company. In my off time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, playing guitar, and collecting vinyl. 

Steve Nordstom

Project Manager

I am a Project Manager/Estimator for S. David & Co. and have over 30 years experience in the paint industry. My experience includes Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Housing, Industrial and Treatment Plants. 

Greg Burley

Project Manager

I am a graduate of Florida Tech with a degree in CADD. I have over 15 years of project management/estimating experience in the construction industry. I utilize the knowledge and skills I have gained throughout those years on a daily basis to help elevate the profile of our company. What drew me to S David was a desire to work for a company that strives to satisfy the needs of the customer 100% of the time. I am honored to be a part of the finest staff of professionals in the painting industry.

Roger Zerne

Project Manager

With close to 20 years in the Construction industry and a wider knowledge base in manufacturing, I hold a BA in Construction Management with coursework in a BA in Architecture. I have acquired my Residential Contractor’s license in the State of Florida. I am a dynamic Project Manager/Estimator. I offer an extensive knowledge in commercial and residential construction. I am enjoying lending my talents to help build the S. David Team, and I appreciate how the S. David team is improving what I am as a professional and person. 

Torin Hefferman

Project Manager

Being a second-generation painting professional has given me over 25 years of experience in the industry. During this time, I’ve managed personnel and projects of all sizes for General Contractors, Architects and many discerning clients — learning the importance of excellent communication, customer service and long-term relationships — in order to ensure our clients’ satisfaction 100% of the time.

Vanessa Welch

Accounts Receivable / Contract Administrator

I joined S. David & Co. in 2019 and bring over 25 years’ experience in office administration. I am responsible for Accounts Receivable, along with Project Administration, and maintain a high degree of professionalism and strong problem resolution capabilities for my team. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally.

Cori Perry

Assistant Production Manager

I joined S. David in October 2020 as the Assistant Production Manager. I have over six years of commercial construction experience, specializing in Quality Control and Punch List Management. 

Sue Waddell

Accounts Payable

I became the Accounts Payable Associate at S. David in 2021, bringing 28 years of payables experience with me. My focus is to get the bills paid in a timely matter and help with the purchase order system. When I’m not at work I enjoy being with my friends and family, especially my grandson. I also enjoy gardening, music, and reading. 

Natasha Brown

Administrative Assistant

I joined the company in 2023 with eight years of dedicated expertise in Logistics Management and five years in Administration. Beyond the office, I cherish quality time traveling with family and my tiny, beloved dogs, indulging in baking adventures, and expressing creativity through art. As a team player, I like the collaborative environment here and strive for excellence in every endeavor. With an optimistic outlook, I am committed to shaping a positive future, both professionally and personally on the journey towards success and fulfillment, where every endeavor is infused with passion and purpose
